Are you a contempory artist living in Gippsland? Do you want to spend time with other like minded artists in this area?
The Gippsland Contemporary Art Group is now up and running!
| Lea Jones and the staff at
the Morwell Art & Framing shop have generously offered the mezzanine floor of the shop
on Thursdays between 9am and 5 pm for artists to come and paint with other artists.
This is a free service, the only catch is that you must clean up after yourself. Easels are available and you need to bring a drop sheet to protect the carpet. If there is a high demand, the service can be extended to other days of the week. |

Even if you don't feel like painting
some days, you are welcome to come in and chat and network with the artists who are
there. It's all about keeping in touch with the art world after you have completed a
course and keeping your career as an artist on track. The mezzanine has tea and coffee making facilities as well as a restroom.
